Grooves on rollers for drive by round belts

The grooves for drive by round belts are performed by the deformation of the metal tube. The company, DAVID, has developed a proprietary process to deform metal tubes without subjecting the material to striction. The thickness of the tube remains constant even in the deformation area.  The tubes therefore keep their rigidity, which enables up to 10 grooves to be made side by side. The process also ensures an out-of-round controlled by rollers and grooves without roughness or sharp edges which increases the life of the belts.


Forming grooves on the zinc-plated STEEL tube and crude STEEL as standard and on STAINLESS STEEL tube on request. Diameter of compatible tube = Ø 30, Ø 40, Ø 50, Ø 60, Ø 70 mm.

Unique profile compatible with round belts from Ø 4 to 6 mm.

Position of the grooves

Minimum distance of the shaft of the first groove in relation to the end of the variable roller depending on the type of rollers and assembly.

Spacing between the grooves = 23 mm as standard (at least 19 mm).
